Latest version of Firefox crashing every 3 minutes for (Signature: sqlite3VdbeExec) It doesnt matter what I do or look at, it crashes. I've used nothing but Firefox since I can remember, but this newest update has destroyed it for me. Any help would be appreciated.

For the past 2 days Foxfire has been crashing no matter what page I am viewing. I won't stay connected for even less that 3 minutes. I am about ready to give up on Foxfire.

I have the same issue. I can't believe that these jokers would release such a crash infested update. There isn't even decent help to get it resolved, only some cute error message. The browser crashed twice with me writing this comment. I am getting used to the Chrome interface fast. These crashes are more common with each release. I don't use IE at all anymore, and firefox is going the way of the Dodo too. It pisses me off. One can't even diagnose the cause of the crash as the output could as well be in in Mandarin.

I have uninstalled ALL extensions and plug-ins. I have uninstalled all Adobe products. I have uninstalled virus software. I have cleaned the registry, restarted and cleaned the registry again with JV16. I uninstalled firefox, and cleaned the registry again. I did a clean install of firefox.

IT IS STILL CRASHING. EVEN when it is doing NOTHING, one tab open to a BLANK PAGE, and it is STILL CRASHING every 30 seconds.

I uninstalled all extensions and plug-ins. I uninstalled firefox tens of times, nothin, it keeps crashing. I tried to delate files as suggested. Nothing. It crashes every minute or so. I launched kasperky and spybot, they found and destried something but the problem is still there. Now I found out that it crashes also every time I click on "organize bookmarks". I think I'll have to go back to explorer but I don't want to. Very sad... It seems that nobody out there does know how to fix it. Any help?

Hi, I will try to tell what I did, I'm not a native English speaker, but I'll try. First: Turn off your pc, and then start it, but don't let it start and press F6 BEFORE it appears charging. Then, go to repair the computer ( I don't know how is in English, but is the first option it gives) Second: select the idiom and follow the steps, once you are in a window which it gives several options ( I dont remember which) but choose that one which says something like "repair the pc to a previous state" ( reparar el equipo a un estado anterior). CHOOSE THAT ONE. Third: it is going to take a while to charge, but once you're there choose the day you want your system back, try to choose a day before the mozilla update, and accept that. It's gonna take a while too, but it will depend on the day you choose. Then re-initiate your pc. Once you have returned to your desktop, go to mozilla and if it is not work, try and download the 3.6.6 mozilla version.

It worked to me, I don't know if it's going to work for all of you.

Please write here if it's work.

ok. guys. I fixed the problem, and it not got to do with spyware/viruses/malware. It's just firefox and maybe it's got to do with adobe, but I'm unsure at this point. first off. Don't do what sergio lagos said. You don't have to do a system restore, actually it's really unnecessary. but to fix it at least it worked for me. was to uninstall firefox completely. then delete the Mozilla Firefox folder in Program Files. with windows xp. its under C:/ and I don't know where it is in vista or windows 7, but it's under Program Files. Also delete the application data for firefox also which is c:/documents and settings/(*your account*)/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox.

After all that is done, restart your computer and reinstall firefox, I also recommended installing your new beta version. You can download it here.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

So far I haven't any problems, good luck.

I had the same problem, crashing every 3 min. I found a message on the Firefox home page saying Flash Player has security/stability issues and needs updating to 10.1.

Did a quick update with the link and no more problems.

It's an sqlite issue, I'm getting the same issue and have reported it to Ubuntu via their apport utility.

Try moving .mozilla to .mozilla.backup. Should fix it.
