My Firefox on windows 10 crashes tabs OFTEN. Mostly is seems to be Facebook and YouTube tabs, but other tabs will crash and this morning, the Firefox start page tab crashed. I've done "refreshes", I've uninstalled and deleted the folder and re-installed, I've checked the SSD for errors. Nothing appears in the event viewer. Is there some way to definitively figure what is causing this?

Did you get a crash repot? If so you should send it to Mozilla the crash report to look into the issue.

The dialog box says it will automatically send a report. If there's something else I can do, I'm happy to do it.

What version of Firefox? What security software are you running? Does it happen in Troubleshoot Mode? If windows pro, you should have sandbox enabled for testing. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/ You can also run in windows in Safe mode with networking.

Hi all, thanks for the responses. It was confusing as the OS never crashed and mostly it was just tabs in FB and YT that crashed. On a whim I used the windows memory diagnostic. It reported problems but was taking too long so I tried MemTest86 and it gave me a long list of errors. I replaced the memory and so far, things seem solid.
