I'm having trouble using a particular site, that I used to be able to in particular clicking on sub menu's from a context menu if that is the correct term, meaning I cannot click an item/button to reveal a menu below it. From the image supplied there are 2 'menu's' with a < character that when clicked should reveal a sub menu of items, works in Edge/Chrome etc.. the only extension I have is Keeper.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin), always make sure such extensions do not block content.

You can check for issues with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages like blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings), click the padlock icon (Clear cookies and site data) for the domain in the selected tab.

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

This is a stock answer and it doesn’t help

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required) so we can check it?

A lot of people use content blocking extensions and do not realize that this can block essential content like JavaScript and CSS files.

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.

If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

As already posted the only extension I have is Keeper Unfortunately the content I’m trying to access is not publicly available i.e. it’s behind a user login. I will look at the other links you posted and attempt to report findings when I’m back at work tomorrow as I only have access to an iPad currently and none of the browsers work properly on that site.

So this is what should happen upon clicking the "dropdown" toggle (in the screenshot) I'm not sure what else I'm looking for, there are 2 warnings that appear randomly (i.e. i don't click anything or navigate the page which are in the 2nd screenshot)
