Just when exactly are you going to repair all the damage you did to my computer a few days ago -- years of valuable work, gone!

And who the hell gave you the right to get into my computer -- my personal property -- delete all that work and replace it with ads from people that want to sell me stuff?

That's what the "upgraded" Firefox did to my computer, just days ago, and I want it FIXED!

If there's going to be a class action lawsuit out of this I will join in a heartbeat!

Now I want ANSWERS from you!!!!!

Jack Holloway p.s. how dare you send out a money-begging message to millions of folks who have been ruined by you?

Thanks for your reply, Dropa.

I had resisted downloading the new version of Firefox for several weeks, as I was just too busy to go through the process until a few days ago.

I finally clicked on "download" and the result was instantaneous -- all my saved little boxes of important information from years back -- history, government, wars, my saved activities, everything in neat little boxes that I just needed just to click on in order to look up or to recall when necessary -- it was all gone in an instant. The screen, instead, had eight little boxes containing ads from people who wanted to sell me stuff. Ads are still popping up, but I figured out how to delete them, and then I figured out how to put in my own eight little boxes, but there's a minor battle going on with the advertisers displacing my little boxes, and then my boxes of info displacing the ads, as only eight little boxes are permitted now.

And by the way, when I went to Firefox to complain, I found a number of complaints from other folks who were upset and reporting the same destruction. Those complaints, as far as I can see, have now been squirreled away.

I think the above information is enough to convince you that it was, in fact, some part of the new Firefox that destroyed my records. If not, we can converse some more.

Thanks again for responding.

Jack Holloway

p.s.

It was a friend of mine who discovered those other complaints and alerted me to them, so I was definitely not hallucinating.
