Hi,

I have several email accounts in Thunderbird (91.8.1 (64-bit), but for some reason there are always issues with my mail.com [not gmail] account. Emails have been ending up in people's Spam folders, and often when I try to send an email I get the following error message in Thunderbird: ______________________________________________

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable Failure sending mail. Try again later. Please check the message recipient "[[email protected]]" and try again ______________________________________________

This happens at random, with different recipients - when I send the same email from my account via the mail.com website, this does not happen, so it must be a Thunderbird issue? Please help!

do you have your mail com account connected via other devices? It sounds like the account is not authenticated, so it not available for sending.

You might also want to check in your account settings > outgoing server (SMTP) that there is only one mail.com SMTP server registered as you only have one account there..
