Firefox doesn't seem to recognize my mail address I've previously used for my Firefox-account.
Hi,
I really hope you can help. In the last two weeks of March I was busy migrating all my relevant data from my work laptop to a HDD since I was switching jobs. I was in a hurry and wanted to transfer my saved bookmarks in Firefox as well. I figured that if I created a Firefox account that I could sync my bookmarks and load them on my new work laptop whenever I signed in. Now the issue at hand is that Firefox doesn't seem to recognize my mail address I used to sync the bookmarks with the Firefox account I used. Now for this 'service ticket' I had to create another account. I used the same mail address again, but not to be confused with my previous Firefox account for which I used the same account.
Can you please help me figure out what happened and how I can recover my saved bookmarks please?
Looking forward to hear from you. Thank you.

Hello, Firefox Sync works by storing your data on Mozilla servers and synchronizing it with your computers and devices. When you set up Sync, you enter an email address and password in order to prevent others from accessing your account. In addition, we encrypt your data with a key derived from your password in order to keep it safe on the server. This article explains what to do if you forget or lose any of this important information and are unable to access your Sync account.
