THUNDERBIRD Installation / Start FAILED
THERE IS NO SUPPORT FOR MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD ! ! ! ! !
Today I Downloaded and Installed (Mozilla ?) Thunderbird. -- BIG MISTAKE ! !
I ran (or attempted to run) the [ thunderbird.exe ] file . . . and I got >
(Quote) The application has failed to start because its "side-by-side"
configuration is incorrect. Please see the event log (NONE) -or- use the command-line [ sxstrace.exe ] tool for more details.
If that is the best that you can do - send my donations back to me !

There are several sites offering advice for this error, but they generally point to a damaged or insufficient Visual C++ installation.
