I am setting up my account and when I try and get 2FA set up it is not working.

I click the, 'enable' button.

I scan the QR code with my Google Authentication app.

I enter the 6 digits into the appropriate space.

It says that is an invalid code.

Can anyone help?

Try a different app like Microsoft or DUO. Let try Google and see what happens.

I scanned the QR code in Firefox and then I had to download the recovery code txt file. Then put one of the codes in Firefox and it worked. In the authenticator app it shows my email address with Firefox.

Make sure that the time and timezone is right on all devices. Using a VPN also might have affect.

You can compare the code from the authenticator app with code generated by a TOTP extension on desktop.
