Sendeadresse zweier web.de-Accounts gleicht sich automatisch an
Hallo an alle,

I have two accounts at web.de that I manage as accounts in Thunderbird. For the sake of simplicity, let's say [email protected] and [email protected]. For some time now, however, I have only been able to send with one of the two as the selected sending address. I also set [email protected] as the sending address in the account settings of [email protected]. If I now want to send via [email protected], this is not possible and the account settings actually state [email protected] as the send address. If I change this in turn to [email protected], it is automatically changed to [email protected]! I can continue this game endlessly. I would be very grateful for any ideas. Viele Grüße Jens
In Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP) at the bottom of the left pane, you should have two smtp servers, with the same settings except for the Descriptions, e.g. websmtp_a and websmtp_b, and the User Names, i.e. [email protected] and [email protected]. Then, select an account in the left pane and click the Outgoing Server (SMTP) drop-down in the right pane, so that account a is sending on websmtp_a and account b is sending on websmtp_b.
