When I first start it up, T-Bird 78 uses about 300 MB of memory. During use it steadily increases, reaching 1 GB after about three days. This used to be a problem two years ago (V52) but it was resolved in a newer version (maybe V68, or maybe earlier -- I'm not sure). Now in 78 it's back again. This isn't actually a surprise, given the magnitude of the 78 rewrite, and the difficulty of avoiding memory leaks...

REFERENCE INFO 78.2.2 (32-bit) running on Win7 Add-on: Tag Popup 2.1.5 (all my other add-ons are unfortunately not compatible with 78!) 4 POP accounts -- 2 checked every 5 minutes, 2 every 60 minutes No chat accounts No RSS accounts

Mine also increases over time. If you are not going much over 1gb and you are not seeing performance issues then I'd sit tight.

p.s. please don't post personal information like email address and phone in public.
