Installed New Thunderbird version 60 which did not migrate into previous version. I uninstalled previous version and lost my locally stored emails.

Today (1/09/18) I installed Thunderbird 60 thinking that this would integrate with my previously installed Thunderbird. I then noticed that I now had two Thundebird programs running. Using IObit un-installer I removed the previous version and no! I did not create a restore point. When I opened the new Thunderbird It had me carry out all the preliminaries such as my Email account etc. When I looked for all my Locally stored email Folders they were gone. I searched APPDATA and found the folders but all were marked .SBD and were empty. In a panic I went direct to my email provider to search for my local folders and they were gone from there also. I urgently need the information that is contained in those Folders. How can I recover them

I suggest you "undo" whatever IObit un-installer did, I can't help you with it, I have never heard of it.

But running optimization software and uninstaller software rarely has a good outcome.

Thanks Matt for your reply. I will get in touch with the software developer to see if they can resolve the issue
