How do I check for a virus

more options

I just received a notice that I had 4 viruses on my phone and not to Leave the page I was on. That I should go straight to Google play and download an app. and that if I left I wouldn't be able to remove them. How can I check Firefox to see if I am having problems with something that may have gotten by?

Also, web pages do not have access to information about other programs on your device, so most likely the page is just trying to sell you something or trick you into installing the very kind of malware they're warning you about.

Just install any antivirus from Play Market. I recommend: Dr.Safety, Dr.Web, Kaspersky, Avast...

If you think you might have installed a bad add-on in your Firefox for Android, see: Uninstall Firefox for Android extensions.
