firefox sync is much improved. Will it ever support cronological listing for all bookmarks?
I used xmarks for ages. A year or two ago the number of bookmarks I have started to cause it to have issues and I stopped using any sync product. I recently tried ff sync again and am amazed at how well it has progressed. It works very transparently and so far without a hitch. Thank you!
A useful feature of xmarks is the ability to view and query bookmarks by time created and so forth. firefox allows one to sort by creation date/time, but only within a particular folder, as least as far as I can tell. Will there ever be a more universal view of bookmarks, regardless of containing folder? Or is there a way to see the bookmarks that way already, and I just haven't seen it?

You can use the search bar (Library, sidebar) and search for a common character like a colon (:) to have a list of all the bookmarks.
In the Library you can sort this list by any column.

To see all bookmarks in the "recently added" order you can create a new bookmark on the Bookmars toolbar with the following address:
place:queryType=1&sort=12&excludeItemIfParentHasAnnotation=livemark%2FfeedURI&excludeQueries=1
and restart the browser.
Thanks. Would that address be useful for finding a bookmark added three years ago, which in my case would mean several thousand bookmarks down the list? That's the kind of use that I have found handy with the xmarks website which does list all of the sync'd bookmarks.

Hmm, crafty, seems like that might be a workaround. Thank you.
