It takes a while to load webpages, sometimes up to 30 sec; and if there are videos, they either don't load the first time and have to refresh 2,3, and even 4X. If it Does load, it's terribly choppy or the video will lag or freeze up for 30 sec then only seem to play a few frames before freezing again. The audio will also be choppy but will "sorta play" for the length of the video. Now the last 2 nights, FF was displaying a question bar across the top of the webpages asking if there was a slow loading/performance issue lately. Well, it's obvious there is but I was frustrated trying to get the pages and videos to load I didn't even think of clicking "YES". Today, there is NO question bar across the top and it seems a little faster but NOWHERE near where it used to be. THIS is what I've done so far: Ran in safe mode - Still Slow, disabled ALL add-ons - Still Slow, uninstalled ALL add-ons - Still Slow, ran Windows Defender Threat level scan CLEAN - Still Slow ran my MALWAREBYTES PRO and came up CLEAN - Still Slow, ran ROGUE KILLER and came up CLEAN - Still Slow, ran CCleaner and Reg Cleaner - Still Slow Uninstalling FF is NOT and option since I have over 100 pages and sites bookmarked and nearly a dozen logins saved which I haven't had to remember for quite some time. Also FF does NOT completely shut down over 50% of the time. When I open FF the next time, it's showing the "OOPS PAGE" about previous session restore, which in my case; could be DAYS later. There have even been times I've "killed FF process" in task manager just to reopen FF the next time...WITH THE SAME OOPS PAGE. What's going on? Are you guys having an issue with Win 10 compatibility or is Microsuk purposely causing this to steer people to their EDGE browser?

Please do this as it will cure the issue you are having : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version Shut down Firefox and restart and repeat if fails to update.

If that fails to work Please : Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Help ? --> Troubleshooting Information Page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there. if yes, go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu (far right) --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser. Restart Firefox

If still having issues Update Video Card Drivers and keep them updated.

Also if still a issue because of older system try : Go the Menu then Tools --> Options --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 0 = No Multi-proccesor = slow again. Hardware Acceleration might have also been a issue so turn it off. Run it later and see as you turn things back on and test it, and again. Restart Firefox after making these changes please. Reason should not go to 0 : https://www.howtogeek.com/332449/whats-new-in-firefox-quantum/
