Need a Fix: Copying Info From An Email, Then Hitting "Reply All" Results in the Compose Window Only Containing The Copied Info

Hi,

I encounter this problem so often during each workday, it would be so nice if there was a fix (or a setting to tweak):

Say somebody sends me an email, and this email contains some information I want to copy/paste elsewhere. Example:

Dear Alaina, Your Track # is #1Z282034920409259203. Best regards, Stan

So I copy "#1Z282034920409259203" from that email (holding down left mouse button, highlighting that text, Ctrl+C) and paste it where I want. I want to thank Stan, so I press Reply. Instead of Stan's complete message (and all the messages before it that we've exchanged), the compose window only contains "#1Z282034920409259203" (the info I've copied).

This is very annoying. I have to unhighlight the text I've copied each time and then hit compose (where I am greeted with Stan's full email and the emails before it, which is what I want.)

Anybody know of anything I can do so I when I hit reply, the full message appears (not just the info I've copied from the email) without having to unhighlight the text I've copied each time?

Thanks! Alaina
