Using laptop on Windows 10 (64bit) now but also had the same problems when on W8.1 (64bit) and for quite some time now, its very frustrating. Nearly all the time when starting Firefox I have to start by using the session restore window to restore tabs, ebay tab can refuse to load quite often others are usually okay. The main problem is when closing Firefox, the window closes straight away but Ram usage remains the same specifically for Firefox as if its still open, after a couple of minutes the Firefox Ram usage stops then the crash reporter window opens. I've updated from 47 to 48 but that makes no difference, opened in safe mode but when closing from this it behaves exactly as before. I've uninstalled & reinstalled but the problem remains, googled it but nothing mentioned about this problem :-( I have another desktop computer on W7 Ultimate (64bit) & Firefox works perfectly, close the window & Firefox's Ram usage drops almost immediately as it should when any other programs are closed. Wasted a ridiculous amount of time trying to sort this out. Can anyone help please.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
