I cannot find the Norton Toolbar (offering Safe Web) in the Add-on/Extension page of 45.0.1 on VISTA
I am planning to use Firefox but when I started Firefox (at version 44.0.2) I could not find the Norton Toolbar. I did a manual update of Firefox to the current version 45.0.1 but the Norton Toolbar was still absent. I checked "Add-ons/Extensions" but the only extension offered is Norton Identity Safe which I'm NOT interested in. The one I'm looking for is the main "Norton Toolbar" which offers "Safe Web". I've checked on Norton's Support website without any success. My Norton product is the latest version of "Norton Security" and I've done a Norton LiveUpdate and restarted my PC. Is this a current problem with Firefox and Norton? Are other users affected? Thank you George

The norton toolbar duplicates features already in Firefox, and leads to many issues in Firefox without increasing your security at all. We strongly suggest you do not install it. Your actual anti-virus protect continues in the background regardless of what browser you are using.
If you really want the toolbar, please contact Norton for assistance.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm new to Firefox and its good to know that it provides the same security features as the Norton Toolbar which I will no longer require.
Thank you.

I'm glad I could help! If you'd like, here are some further tips you can try to increase your performance, security and get the most from Firefox and your computer:
- Get started with Firefox - An overview of the main features
- If you own an android or Apple device, did you know Firefox runs on those as well? Install Firefox on an Android device using Google Play and Install Firefox on your iPad, iPhone or iPod
- Once you get that set-up, you can use Firefox sync to get all your personal information (bookmarks, history, passwords, etc.) on all your devices! How do I set up Sync on my computer?
