Can I use Thunderbird as my main email client? I'm currently using Fastmail and want to drop it. If I can, how do I set it up?
I want to drop Fastmail as my email client and would like, if possible, to just use Thunderbird. Is that possible and if so, how do I set up Thunderbird to do that?
Thanks,
Harvey

Fastmail looks like they are an email provider. Providers issue and operate email accounts. Thunderbird is email client software. Client software runs on your computer to help you manage your email. They are not interchangeable. You can use Thunderbird to manage most email accounts that you get from a provider. Without a provider you do not have email.
