Why does clipboard in Fx Android not work?
(Hope this is not a duplicate: When I started to post, system asked me to confirm my email address, and stated that my message would then be posted, but the system now says I have not sent anything. A bit later: My error, a misunderstanding of the language of the forum system; I had posted, which appears not to be the same as sent. My original message was, in fact, posted, but I looked for it in the wrong place.)
With Android Kitkat 4.x, I could bring up an account with Keepass, have my userid or password saved to the clipboard, then go to Fx, bring up a account log-on page, long press in the id or password box, and the "Paste" popup would appear; a click on the icon would transfer the clipboard data to the relevant log-on box.
With Android Lollipop 5.0, this does not work: Instead of getting the Paste pop-up, I get an arrow in the log-on box showing me where to type in the data. I know that the Android clipboard is working: Using Keepass, I can save date to the clipboard and then, for example, go to Gmail, long-press, get "Paste," click on that and see the clipboard data transferred to Gmail. The Fx problem has existed since I received my Moto X phone last March through every update to Fx Android, including the most recent such release.

When I long press the field, I get a bar at the top which has a paste icon. I have attached a screen shot (size reduced) of what I see. (This was a random thing I copied since I don't have Keepass.)
You don't get anything like that?
Oops, this may be 5.1 and not 5.0

I would be happy to thank you for the very prompt reply, but as the solution you offered was not only correct, but entirely too easy, i really cannot do that.
I never thought about looking up for a new icon, given that, in the past, I had always seen the "Paste" button (or whatever its proper terminology might be.) As that did not appear, I came to the totally brilliant conclusion that the clipboard did not work in Fx Android.
That neither my not looking up to the Fx bar not my conclusion were correct is merely a (please fill in the blank as you best see misfit...).
I shall try to remember to thank you, and I shall also edit my Keepass trouble report, which never engendered any reply, to the effect that, thanks to you--ah, ha, see I DID remember!--my frustration about the Fx/clipboard interactiion has been resolved.
