I have I.E. 9 set as my default browser & understand extended support will end in April, 2017 according to Microsoft. I have been unable to upgrade to Windows 7 on this P.C. & would like to know if there is any date set for Firefox Support as far as Windows Vista is concerned? I would like to set Firefox as my default browser if Vista will be supported for several more years if supported like it is now. What type of support will be offered, if any in the future?

A date hasn't been set. In fact WinXP SP2 & 3 are still supported by Mozilla for Firefox. I doubt if Mozilla support for Vista will end anytime in the near future.

Overall, Mozilla doesn't select arbitrary dates for ending OS support, the last to fall by the wayside was Windows 2000 over the need by Mozilla to update the program that was used to put together Firefox. The newer version just didn't support Windows 2000 or WinXP and WinXP SP1.
