- 1 Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link} and save it somewhere safe
- 2 Uninstall Firefox from your computer {web link}
DO NOT remove your profiles. - 3 After, reboot the computer.
- 4 Run a registry cleaner. After, run Windows Regedit program.
Look for and remove Firefox anything. - 5 Once again, reboot the computer. Then run the full installer.

Your statement is unclear. Are you trying to update Firefox and something went wrong? Were you trying to do something else? Please state your problem clearly.
was upgrading was interupted, crashed been uninstalling and reinstalling still crashes on startup
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help It is probably something wrong with the profile rather than with Firefox itself.
am not able to get into the profile manager either, same crash message
Try this. Close Firefox.
Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;
Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\ C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Windows Linux: ~/.mozilla/ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Linux Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Mac
Rename the profiles.ini file by adding .old to it. Now restart Firefox.
If this works, please open the profiles.ini.old file, and post its content.
didn't fix it still get dialog box...firefox has stopped working
thanks for trying

any recommendations on a reg cleaner?
Some anti-virus programs have it. Else, go to a trusted web store and look around. Some are low cost.
used wise registry cleaner....free it or regedit fixed the issue thanks Mike
Great to here. Just like anti-virus and mal-ware, run the full scans every now and then.
Safe Surfing.
