My email program messed up after update of thunderbird. How to remove update.
My email program was working great. The last Thunderbird update messed it up. I proceeded to restored my computer to the previous day and email program went back to normal. Now again without warning Thunderbird updated the program again and the same thing has happened. I hat to have to do a restores every time Thunderbird thinks I need an update. How do I remove the latest update and make sure that they don't try to update again and cause me problems?
This is the mess up. When I would type an email address, the complete address would come up immediately after the first 2-3 letters. Now it is all messed up and if I don't watch it someone else email will pop up. Can someone help.

If you are refering to this : You start typing in TO field and select a name, but when you press Enter the email address changes.
This is a known bug and the developers are working on this asap.

The best method of entering contacts is to use the Contacts sidebar.
In a new Write message If you cannot see the 'Contacts Sidebar' , 'View' > select: 'Contacts sidebar' OR Toggle the view using f9 key
select the address book Select the contact(s) click on 'Addto TO' button or other option.
