How to convert MBOX to PST format?
I've been using Thunderbird from more than a couple of years. Now I need to switch to Microsoft Outlook from it. I've heard that Outlook supports PST format for storing mailbox data. If I want to use my MBOX files' data in Outlook, I need to import them to PST format or need to convert my MBOX files into PST format. I've searched about this on Google many times. Most of time, I got recommendation about third-party tools. Last week I found a blog post of N.Sem's blog, named as: How to Perform MBOX to PST Conversion? | N.Sem's Blog
Someone please tell me whether the manual technique given in the blog post would be helpful or not? I'm linking the blog post here for your convenience:

Thanks in advance.

As this is a Thunderbird forum for Thunderbird users, the info should really relate specifically on the process on how to move Thunderbird emails stored in mbox files to Outlook.
The software converter tool recommended at the link is not free. However, you can download and freely use the demo version, but there is a limitation; the software will convert only 25 emails per MBOX file. So it is useful as a demo, but may not be practical as most people do not have less than 25 emails per mbox.
There are several mbox to pst converter tools that can be purchased to do the job of converting mbox files to .pst files; many offer a free trial version for downloading. You have recommended one perhaps because you have used it before which users may find helpful.
How to move emails currently stored in your Thunderbird Profile in mbox files to Outlook if using a Windows OS. If you are using Windows OS, then you may have 'Windows Live Mail' already on your computer. Otherwise you can download it free from various places such as:
One method to get Thunderbird stored mbox file emails into Outlook, would be to use 'File' > ' Save selected messages' as .eml files in a folder outside of Thunderbird eg: a folder on the desktop. Windows Live Mail (WLM) allows you to drag & drop your .eml files from Explorer directly into the message list. Once they are in Windows Live Mail, you can use its Export function to get the messages into Outlook.
This link offers more detailed information on 'Drag & drop into Windows Live Mail' and Export them to Outlook.
