Hello. The question is: How do I sync my IPhone with Foxbrowser?

I just installed the Foxbrowser on my IPhone 5 (iOS 7), because I don't like Safari. It'd also be nice to use my synced Firefox bookmarks. In order to use Foxbrowser at all, I must sync it with my Firefox account. I have a Firefox account, with which I have synced things with several desktop PC's.

The instructions on Foxbrowser say I must add my IPhone to my sync account. Firefox's instructions tell me to enter about:home in the address bar, click on Sync at the bottom, then "Sync" at the top of the Options window, then click on "Pair a device". Problem is, no "Pair a device" link appears. All I get are "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Notice" links, which are empty when I click them.

I'm using Firefox 30.0. I don't know if it matters, but I'm using Custom Theme Restorer.

Many others have asked about this "Pair a device" problem, and I haven't seen a solution. Mozilla has help pages about adding Android devices which don't mention IPhone.

Foxbrowser offers an option for adding my IPhone to sync if I'm not near my computer. The instructions are poor, there's a scary "Caution: use at own risk" warning, and it doesn't work.

Other than this, my syncing experiences have been positive. Firefox's help pages were little help, and I had to do a lot of guesswork, but once I got it going, it worked fine.

Foxbrowser is not built or supported by Mozilla, so we can't really support it. Mozilla does not support any app on the iPhone in any way because of Apple's restrictive policies preventing competing technology being placed on the device. To truly sync with Firefox Desktop you must use an Android with Firefox for Android installed, or eventually, FirefoxOS.

I hope that "Thank you" replies aren't against your rules, but thank you! I was not expecting such a rapid reply, especially from an actual Mozilla person. I was unaware that Foxbrowser isn't supported by Mozilla. The bizarre warning message and poor instructions I encountered when I tried to sync my phone should have tipped me off.

There are several other apps on the IPhone App Store for syncing with Firefox, and some of them have logos that resemble yours (Foxbrowser's doesn't).
