Software programs to backup Firefox Bookmarks
I had been using MozBackup but understand that is no longer an option. I always liked it but now I"m wondering if there are any update programs that will backup my Bookmarks and Extensions, etc.
Surely if MozBackup was available and worked fine there must be others. It was a very easy program to use but don't want to have any problems in the future. I tried XMarks and finally deleted that. It became a nightmare to use since I have more that one computer and different operating systems.
Are there any other add-ons that anyone knows about?

hello vegaspatt, all your user data is stored in the firefox profile folder - you wouldn't necessarily need to use any external programs, since you can also create a manual backup of the profile:
Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
Recover important data from an old profile
Are you looking to back up or to synchronize your Firefox data?
If you're familiar with MozBackup, that's what I was thinking I needed to replace since it's no longer supported or updated. It did what I really wanted to do but figured that there was something else endorsed by Mozilla.
I tried X-Marks and that is driving me nuts and I finally got rid of it.
When X-Marks messed up my Toolbar again today, I did use Mozbackup and just restored the Bookmarks toolbar.
But even though Mozbackup worked great I'm looking ahead and wanted to find a replacement in the event it failed.
Philipp,
I will check out those two links you posted but I don't think that's what I was looking for.
If it does turn out that I can easily find the info I need I will post back to let you know.
Thanks for the response.
You can also use Firefox Sync and the manual exporting of bookmarks.
Also note that Firefox makes backups of your bookmarks daily (or everytime you use the browser).
