How may I prevent FireFox from updating Flsh Player and disabling the old version I am using?
I have chosen to NOT update my Flash Player. The stability of newer versions is poor. I want to keep my old one and have instructed Flash Player to NOT check for updates or install them. Now Mozilla is going to do this for me.
How may I disable the feature in Fire Fox that forces me to upgrade and which disables the version of Flash Player I am using?

Consider rolling Flash back to 10.3 if you can't use 11.7. At least 10.3 still gets security updates.
Not sure this really addresses the problem.
The Current version of Flash is 11.7.700. I am using 11.5.502 because it is much more stable. I have had no problems with it. But since yesterday, FireFox is disabling 11.5.502 for me every time I try to use it, even after I have selected to use it by telling FireFox to go ahead and use it. I am fairly sure if I revert to 10.3, then the current version will see that it is WAY out of date and disable it for me.
This new procedure was part of an update yesterday and hit my laptop, then my desktop today. Yes, I thank you for looking out for me, kind of like the traction control in my car. But at least the traction control can be turned off. How do I turn this safety feature in FireFox off?
Flash 11.0-11.6 is blocked. Flash 11.7 is not blocked. Flash 10.3-10.3.183.66 is blocked. Flash 10.3.183.86 is not blocked. http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10.3
There probably is a workaround to use blocked plugins but it's after midnight for me and I can't search it up tonight.
