How do I change the google location search from the firefox address bar? I'm in Australia but it searches UK, only my desktop has this problem.
Other browsers on the same computer will automatically use google australia as default, even when I type google.com but I can specify to go to domainless google on the page. However, Mozilla will actually take me to google.com when I type that into address bar which makes me think its somehting to do with Mozilla settings. The main problem is, when I used the address bar to search via google it will ALWAYS give me UK results even though I'm looking for Australian results. How do I change it such that when I search from address bar it'll give me Aus results?? I don't see any settings in options to change this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Open a new tab
- In the address bar type about:config
- Click "I'll be careful, I promise"
- In the filter bar, just below the FF Address bar type: keyword.URL
- set the Value to http://www.google.com.au/search?q=

Thanks for your help and quick reply! Unfortunately it didn't work. I followed your instructions, opened a new tab. Typed "Hi" into address bar and still UK results. I closed and restarted firefox and still didn't change anything. I attached the images to show you what I did.
