I have a personal Google account and a Google apps account (via my employer, with a custom domain). I normally can log into either one and switch between the two using the "switch accounts" function. This currently works in chrome, and worked in Firefox until I received an upgrade to v9.0.1 today. Now the option to access the other account just isn't there anymore.

This feature is accessed from gmail by clicking on my name in the top right nav bar and choosing "switch accounts". You must have this feature turned on in the settings for both accounts to make this work. I use this to, for instance, read all my mail in one account and use the calendar or docs from the other one.

Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have a suggestion as to why or a solution?

Hi,

The Google Apps status shows no issues. If you have been logged in to the account for many days continuously, please try a Ctrl + F5 refresh or sign out, clear the cookies and sign back in, assuming that the configuration is still intact.

I have tried everything I can think of to log out, log in, clear cache, verify the settings on both accounts, go through the google help, try it in another browser (where it works fine) etc. Doesn't look like anything has changed on Google's end, and this happened immediately when I updated to the latest FF version. Can you (or anyone) verify that it is working for you with v 9.0.1?

Yes, the Switch account button is visible and active when I click my name and the list of accounts to switch to comes up when I click that (Firefox 9.0.1). Please also check if this happens in Safe Mode.

Thanks for confirming things Vivek.Wilfred.

FYI, for future others with this problem: After a couple hours of playing around it was fixed, though I'm not sure what finally did it. Be sure that you try Google's "Sign Out of All Accounts", and not just the regular sign out option.
