Sounds like a problem with the file profiles.ini You can use the Profile Manager to create new profiles and choose one of the lost profiles as the location to re-register them in the profile manager.

That's exactly what I did; I could not find the correct syntax for profiles.ini, so I created new profiles and edited the profiles.ini to point to my original profiles. I then deleted the bogus profiles.
