I have a friend that is blind and can only use Thunderbird with the keyboard shortcuts. I cannot find a shortcut to open an attachment to an email. He has Jaws screen reader but it’s not particularly helpful for attachments. Is there a keyboard shortcut to open attachments to an email?

I did a quick search and found this suggestion, which seems to work in the current release.
