Can't download extensions - error says "To use these add-ons, you'll need to download Firefox" while I'm using Firefox
I'm having trouble downloading any add-ons whilst using Firefox the error says:
"To use these add-ons, you'll need to download Firefox"
I have re-download Firefox and the error still shows up.
Not sure what else to do.
Photo added for reference.

Your User Agent shows: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:92.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/92.0/Yb0YyIeG-55
Note the junk at the end.

Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check ‘’’Resist Fingerprinting’’’
on the ‘’’about:config’’’ page as this affects the user agent?
- privacy.resistFingerprinting = false

This could be a problem with Avast Anti-Track that has modified the user agent, so if you use this software then try to disable it.
Thanks for both your replies, somehow I used Firefox on a laptop device, managed to download the add-on above and when I came back to my desktop it was added within the toolbar.
I will keep an eye on Avast as I do use it.
Note that a lot of websites may have a problem with a modified user agent in the way yours is as they do not expect extra data after Firefox/92.0.
