shopping cart on amazon
Hi Been having an annoyance shopping on amazon, when i have stuff in my cart, 15% of my screen now is strictly dedicated to what is currently in my shopping cart. Doesn't matter how big or small the screen zoom is, eventually it ends up back on screen...was this a suggestion to have this mandatory on my screen? who would recommend such a thing? I would at least want the option to view my entire screen and click on the cart when I'm ready to check out...thanks!

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Ok here's a pic in case you dont see it. This sidebar seems to open up once a few things go into your cart... https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/images/2020-12-29-07-02-28-ed0963.png
I don't know why that panel opened, but try using the little ^ at the lower right to close it. And if it keep coming back, you could let Amazon know it's not helping (or just shop somewhere else).
Edit: I think that ^ might be for the Saved for Later items and not the drop-down panel.

It seems to be a new feature for widescreen users. If I narrow the window below 1680 pixels, it goes away.
Yeah I thought about switching my screen resolution, its outside the recommendations of the laptop...
bummer, I was hoping it was a browser enabled feature (on/off capable) since its the only site that seems to actually use it...
It goes away if you zoom in enough, but alternately if you use any extensions that can block unwanted elements on the page, perhaps you can remove it that way.
