Are you talking about the size of the sie of Windows control buttons?
Hmmm . . . .
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I set the default value, nothing has changed, except for the size of these ugly white buttons. These "freaks" are the same, unfortunately.
Is this with just the Firefox window or all of them?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Could it be that you once used Aero Glass (which Microsoft removed) ?

No, but I was used changesize & advchange utilities. Maybe the problem arose because of this... However, changing settings are no longer helping.
