Has anyone finally put Tabs back on the bottom where they belong. I can't believe that I have used palemoon for 5 years because firefox can't do this easy fix

I am not going to do any digging. I type way to slow. Its why i haven't transitioned to linux. Just put the option to put tabs back on the bottom. It was available for a long time, then some smart asses thought changing it "made more sense" it doesn't. I also hate that all my history and bookmarks simply disappeared into the chrome disaster firefox has become. I use palemoon because huh huh it can still put tabs on the bottom.

Simply, there is no security reason to not have tabs AVAILABLE to be on the bottom-where they belong. I would also suggest letting me clutter my screen with all the stuff that was once just a matter of how the GUI is presented and not a security issue.

I refuse to go back to Firefox because you have made it less user friendly and haven't fixed it in 5 years!

Note that in Firefox 64, to be released soon, it will be a lot harder to get the tabs in the lower position, especially if you want to have the menu bar visible as well (menu bar and tab bar have been placed in an extra container).

The tabs bar moved to the top around Firefox 4, more than 7 years ago. Since that time, you have been able to change the order of toolbars by using custom style rules in a userChrome.css file, even after the built-in option was removed around Firefox 29, more than 4 years ago.

You may be aware of this approach and decided not to use it, but that is what we have for you from a Support angle. We work with the Firefox we have today, and can suggest features, settings, add-ons and other workarounds.

Do you need help recovering lost bookmarks, or transferring them to a different browser? Please go into more detail on what you need.

Well I guess I am going back to palemoon. Thank you for the reply.

FF missing menus and tabs in the wrong spot is not at all usable to me. I don't mind a little clutter if it saves on going through a lot more mouse motion as FF does after the major change.

Aris has some updated rules that seem to work in Nightly.

Looks better, but honestly I haven't done any level of programming since highschool a quarter century ago. If it's not an easier option, it's pretty much a no go for me. Palemoon is slower than FF, likely not much worse for security, but it does what I need it to do(most of the time) I'll check back in a few more years to see if the 'made for people' actually has options once more instead of work around.
