Can we get a "keep until ..." option for third party cookies and site data, just like the option for first party cookies?

Since Firefox can differentiate between first party and third party cookies & site data, it would be great to have a general setting to delete third party cookies & site data when I close Firefox. This way I can accept all these annoying cookie policy agreements without opting in to tracking.

There is a setting to make all third party cookies "session only" cookies, so if that's what you were planning to select, this should take care of it:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste cook and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the network.cookie.thirdparty.sessionOnly preference to switch the value from false to true

I notice there's also network.cookie.thirdparty.nonsecureSessionOnly but I don't know whether you need to change that one, too. I guess it can't hurt.

That should work, thanks! I think a UI for this would be nice to have, but I'm happy this behavior can be set at all.
