If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Now cannot restore bookmark toolbar

Did you export the bookmarks as per 1st URL If did what about just doing the opposite and Imported them now. Or is totally broken then need to follow the last 2 URL's Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I guess just uninstall and start from scratch

Am back to correct bookmarks etc. I am not going to pursue the download problem, but will assume that the HRBlock site is only compatible with IE.
