Firefox won't quit when I attempt to re-start my Apple i-mac. Also, as a long time Firefox user, the once easy, efficent and seamless operation is waning.
Applying Force quit does not solve the problem, thus I manually hold back-panel power button.

What happens when you close Firefox first?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
