Leaving Foxfire because of it's new what of interfacing with Logmein
Sorry to say after MANY years of successfully using Fire Fox I'm going to have to leave.
Because of the new upgrades Fire Fox forces automatically opens a new tab when I log in to my LOGMEIN account and it's not possible to have multiple tabs open at the same time. From what I can tell there isn't any way to get away from this.
There's too much fuss doing research and popping back and forth (opening and closing) when I'm connected to my computer at work.
Sad part is I absolutely HATE Internet Explorer, but not having the multiple tab feature when I use LOGMEIN just adds to much time to the work I need to do.
By-by and good luck!

If you want, maybe we can work on fixing this problem. Are you saying when you try to open the web site, another window / tab also opens? How are you opening the web site?
I open the website by going to a book mark for LOGMEIN, putting in a password and logging on to the account which used to open right in the tab itself.
Now it opens an entirely new page disconnected from that tab.
I tried to attach a PDF that shows what I'm talking about but I couldn't upload it for you to see. Seems like Mozilla doesn't like this kind of file. Is there another way I could send it to you?
Please know any suggestions are welcome.
You can upload screenshot images in this forum.

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
Thanks for the tip on the compressed images. Changed the PDF into PNG images. I'm not that computer literate, etc. but did the best to provide an example of what's happening. Hope it makes sense to you.
Based on my conversations with LOGMEIN's tech's it seems like there's not another way around it except to use Explorer.
Decided I could use Explorer for my work purposes and Mozilla for everything else... no need to TOTALLY swap one for the other since it seems push has come to shove for this particular problem.
Can you drag that Window into your Other Firefox window? Grab the title bar and drag it into the tab bar of the Firefox Window.
