Session Restore Has Not Opened From Previous Session.
On start up today my previous session has not been restored. TooManyTabs add on is also missing from toolbar, and nothing is showing in the bookmarks side panel. There is also a lot of empty space in the open window top section . Everything was working fine when I closed last night.

Please check here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-previous-session I hope this helps.
It sounds that Firefox didn't close properly last night and that some files in the Firefox profile folder got corrupted.
Can you attach a screenshot?

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0
- Shockwave Flash 11.4 r402
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

Thanks. Afraid that didn't help. It was about domain names and didn't seem to be related to restore session.
Thanks cor-el. It certainly looks as if Firefox hasn't fully opened today. It looks as if it is on the way to opening, but not fully open. I can't even go back a page with the present set up. I have never before used a screen shot so I will read up on that and get back to you again.
Wasn't able to create screen shot cor-el. Would this copy and paste help? http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/
hello OneTrueFriend,
this will definitely help you to take the screenshots so take them and send us.
You can use the Snipping Tool in Windows Vista. http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-with-the-Snipping-Tool-in-Vista
Tell me please; Which of the four snipping options do I use? What is the easiest way to include the snip in a reply? Thanks.
I now have a screenshot in an email in my inbox. Can you tell me, please, how to get it from there to the site? Thanks.
What is the situation with this link? It is not what it says it is.
There is no Restore Session button at the bottom of my home page like the one highlighted n the diagram. All the other buttons are there; Downloads Bookmarks History Add Ons Sync Settings but none of them open.

I am pleased to report that Firefox has opened normally today and appears to be working fine with everything restored. That large empty space in the toolbar area has disappeared and everything looks normal there. Sincere thanks to all who took the time and trouble to help out yesterday.
This kind of problem occurs, When improper closing of Firefox browser while using.....It gives a pop-up message like....Confirm Close. If u did that in a proper way means,,,,u can achieve.....the previous session in Mozilla.

Thanks Bala. I closed that Firefox session with File > Exit. There was no indication of any problem.
