The page isn't redirecting properly?
I'm trying to log into a membership site and am getting an error:
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I can get to the login page just fine, but after I click 'Login', I get the error.
Please private message me and I will send you login details so we can see if it's just a problem with the website.
If you look at my troubleshooting steps below, I've ruled out Firefox as the issue; the same thing happens with Chrome
I have no idea where else to go with this problem, I'm hoping you guys will have an answer.
Thank you all!

If this is happening with Chrome as well, this is, as the error message says, an issue with the website, and you'll have to talk to the owners of the website to get it corrected.
Did you try to clear the cookies?

When multiple browsers are affected, it could be external security software. For example, security suites often contain privacy functions that can block cookies, referrer headers, and other information websites use for maintain the integrity of your session or authenticating you. If the site switches between secure mode (for login) and insecure mode (after login), that also could trip some firewall rules. Finally, if you are using an anonymizing service, could you test without it?
Ah, thanks for answering jscher, you seem to be on top of things here.
I have a firewall in Windows and I'm using Bootcamp for my Mac, so when I switch to my Mac, which doesn't have any sort of security software installed, I still get the same problem. So I think that's ruled out.
I live in Italy without being anonymous, so I thought I would try a VPN service which put me in California, same problem both ways.
I think it's got something to do with the website itself but I still haven't heard back from support after emailing them last week.
If I PM you my login details, can you see if you're able to log in? That would help me a lot with troubleshooting this.
Thank you Jscher! A big help as always.
