When I updated Firefox to the newest version, I noticed that I can't upload images to photobucket, using any method. I also cannot see things that I know use javascript, like custom titles on sites and blogs. I've searched for a solution, and disabled all of my plugins and addons. I've updated EVERYTHING! Any ideas?

You can try to reset Firefox and create a new profile.


You may also need to check your security software to make sure that it isn't causing the problems.

Some of those features might be powered by Flash. There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Have you noticed any issues on audio or video sites? If so, this article might help: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.

Boo. Neither of those things worked. I even tried reverting back to an older version of Firefox.

Have you tried starting Firefox with all add-ons disabled, to check to see if it's one of them that's causing the problem?

on the Firefox menu bar --> Help --> Start with add-ons disabled

If it works properly then, close FF and start back up normally and start disabling them one by one until you find the one that's causing the problems. It could be that one of them updated and is having some glitches.

yes, i did that, and none of them seem to be causing the problem. i am going to uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Some firewalls are able to block JavaScript, so you can check the advanced settings for Firefox if a new profile this isn't working.

You can try to test this by booting the computer in Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen).

I use mcafee. I checked all of that too :( I'm going to just uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps. I appreciate you trying to help.
