IDN domains like http://битва.org/ still appear correctly for me in Firefox 7. Do you still see this problem if you restart Firefox with add-ons disabled?

The TLDs .com and .net do not meet the requirements that Mozilla demands before white listing a TLD.
Only domains that have been white-listed show as real text.
Domains that are not white-listed show as puny code.

well... it is a shame to be behind other browsers worse than yours ( ours :) )

It is not being behind on other browsers, but a security measure to prevent spoofing.
It is possible to register a domain that use similar looking characters on those domains and that makes it possible to let you click on a link to trick you to got to such a fake website.
A TLD needs to follow strict rules and not allow such domains to get accepted by Mozilla.

You can bypass that restriction at your own risk if you want to see the real name on such not white-listed domains.

Do not think that I am attacking. Nothing is further from my intention. My web address is the name of a character in Spanish, so the importance of this domain

Great job anyway yours

You're welcome

Yes, I know. If you want to see the full name in Mozilla browsers including Firefox then you need to register the site on one of the white-listed domains.

See also the network.IDN.whitelist.* prefs on the about:config for the current state.

cor-el: I tried to avoid that. I wanted to be international :)

Anyway, I'll have to register the '.es' exclusively because in firefox the address is not displayed correctly.

I accept and assume the rules :)
