Website Searchs No Longer Working
At some recent point searches on companys' websites do not function in firefox where they used to and do using other browsers. I did not change settings in Firefox. Here is an example website: https://www.petsuppliesplus.com/ Their item search box appears to be disabled in Firefox.
I read an older thread on a similar issue and my Firefox Settings for Privacy and Security regarding History are set to Remember All History, so not set to private browsing.

Searching pet product items works for me on that site.
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
Troubleshoot Mode is even worse. Firefox won't even open a search link to get to the site.
As I originally mentioned there is no issue with other browsers; Chrome & Brave.
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
I just tried a refresh of the program and the same non-functional search occurs on merchant's websites.
Works here as well.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
Make sure your IP address is located inside the US, check that you don't have a VPN or proxy enabled. In Connection Settings, try changing "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".
Tried "No Proxy" without change to dysfunction. Also turned off Avast for a bit also with no effect. Also finding the login to their site is disabled with FireFox.ack Backtracking, also tried Windows in SAFE Mode without a change in the issue.
Perhaps it's time to go back to Chrome.

Login works for me.
- Uninstall and reinstall Firefox.
- Try uninstalling Avast, disabling may not be enough.
- Go to about:policies in the address bar and check for active enterprise policies.
- Go to about:third-party and disable third-party modules.
