I recently used Firefox to look at a website (it doesn't matter too much, but it was www.untapped.io/)

I left-clicked on a link on said website.

My computer launched Microsoft Outlook (an email application).

I hate Microsoft Outlook, so I right-clicked on the link instead of left-clicking.

Right-clicking opens a context menu in Firefox. There used to be a "copy email address" option in the menu. Now there is only "save page as", "save page to pocket," etc...

It used to be that I could copy the email address and paste it into the "TO" field in the email client of my choice, such as gmail.com

When I right-click on a link for an email address, there should be a "copy email address" option.

I really, really, do not want the computer to open Microsoft Outlook every-time that I click on an email address in Mozilla Firefox. I would prefer to copy the email adress and paste it into the email client of my choice.

I think that part of the problem is that the link is not actually a traditional, old-fasioned, HTML hyperlink.

Instead, it looks something like this:

I am having some difficult posting HTML on this thread and having it still be visible as code.

That is, anytime I type some HTML into this thing, the browser renders it.

I don't want to render the HTML. I want to show you the source code.

Here is a link to some of the source code: source

There is not much code there. The Firefox Inspector showed a lot of HTML, but the inspector would not let me copy and paste very much of it. It is strange, but in the Firefox inspector I cannot left-click and drag the mouse to select large amounts of text. I can't select it all by pressing "Ctrl-A" on my keyboard either.

If the email address is in plain text then you should be able to select this text and copy it to the clipboard. If it is a mailto link then there should be a Copy Link in the context menu (you would have to remove the mailto: protocol after pasting).
