How do I restore the original Firefox theme
How do we go back to the original Firefox theme? It had a much better balance of colors and was more pleasing to the eye! The present default grey/white theme is terrible -- no contrast between tabs etc. There are thousands of Firefox themes to choose from, many are very fancy and some very dark (including the photon theme). Who has the time to go through and try them all or to build a new theme. The Firefox group had the perfect theme already built!
Is it so difficult to place the original simple Firefox theme as a selection in the theme library labelled "Original" and make the theme library searchable by name? At the very least it should have been left as an option in the themes category!
In future, updates should give the option of keeping the present default theme.
Very frustrating not to be given the option of the original theme!! David

It is possible that you selected one of the Colorways themes that are included in Firefox 94. You can find the built-in themes (light, dark, system) and further down the Colorways themes included in Firefox 94 on the "Add-ons and Themes" page (Ctrl+Shift+A; Themes tab).
Hi co-rel thank you for your prompt response. The change in theme occurred many months ago with a Firefox upgrade (I think from 88 to 89?). I am now using the system theme – auto as none of the others suits me. Is there absolutely no way to go back to the original Firefox theme? I see many threads of others making the same request!
Hey, You can try Photon Colors, it is quite similar to the previous theme.
Hi Mamoon -- thank you for responding. Photon colors is too dark for me so I must be looking for the theme before v 57. The theme I need is the original one that had the colors of the Firefox logo and was very simple and easy on the eyes. Surely it must still exist somewhere and could be provided as an option in themes.
