With Safari having taken extensions from the Mac to iOS with the latest update, I keep hoping that Mozilla will do the same. Is this in the pipeline? In particular, I would love to see containers available in the iOS app. This is a terrific tool and needs to be expanded to mobile iterations of the app. Thank you.

Hello,

Currently, Apple is very restrictive on browsers on iOS. All iOS browsers must use AppleWebKit, not gecko. Although this alone shouldn't be a huge issue, Apple is quite restrictive on what apps can do, and an app running arbitrary code is not something they want.

Also to kinda get on the conspiracy theory side of things, doesn't that make safari more appealing to use on iOS, even maybe enough to pull you in to buy a mac so that you can get a similar browsing experience with the same extensions. Just a thought though.
