Config setting mail.warn_on_shift_delete no longer working
Recently Thunderbird stopped prompting me with a warning when I shift+delete a message. I've checked in the Config, mail.warn_on_shift_delete is still set to true. Any ideas? I know there are add-ons which will generate a warning but I don't see the point of an add-on if Thunderbird can to it - and it always did until very recently.
I'm running 68.5.0 (32-bit) on WIndows 10.

... and halfway through today it has just started prompting me again. I didn't imagine it...
I would check to see if your keyboard is faulty - they don't last forever.
That's a good suggestion, but I use shift+delete all the time for deleting files and messages from Outlook (I use Thunderbird in a VM for personal email, and Outlook on the host for work). Lightbulb moment - maybe the VM was in a funny state and not seeing the shift key - if it happens again then I will check that out. For now it remains a mystery.
Well it's happening again, and the VM/Windows that Thunderbird is running in IS seeing the shift key - if I delete files with shift+delete then Windows gives me the usual "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this file" prompt which means it is seeing the shift key.
So it's an intermittent Thunderbird problem.
