Firefox install not starting from Google Play Store
This may be a general problem related to the Google Play Store, but I have been able to install every app I need except FIrefox so I figured I would start here.
I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 tablet (model SM-7280). The tablet runs Android 5.1.1 and seems to meet all of the other system requirements for Firefox.
When I open the Google Play Store, I can search for Firefox and view the app. When I press "Install" the store prompts me to accept the app permissions required. Normally, pressing "accept" would then begin downloading the app, but nothing is happening. I have tried several times over the last two weeks without any success. This morning, I tried clearing the Google Play Store app data (including the cache), but I still get the same result.
I installed another app this morning to verify that the Google Play Store was still working otherwise. The problem seems to only be affecting Firefox.
How can I install FIrefox?

Hi
If the device is running Android 5.1, I doubt it is new as it more likely to be about five years old.
The capacity of the device may mean that you would need to free some space to be able to install Firefox for Android alongside other apps on that device.

I should clarify: I bought it new on clearance a couple of weeks ago, but the model is from 2016. It's definitely brand new out of the box though.
I have more than 2 GB of free space. The Firefox app is only 45.62 MB.
Hi
Just as an experiment, are you able to install other apps from the Google Play Store to your device?
