I accidentally clicked on the selection not to open a secure browser window for a financial website, and also did not unclick "remember this decision". How can I undo that selection to enable opening a secure browser window for that website?

Hi yurnitz, this doesn't sound like a built-in Firefox feature. Is it something that comes from your security software, through an add-on? You can manage your add-on settings on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.

Then scan down the right side for the extension(s) that seem relevant and try their "Options" button to see whether you can remove that exception.

Any progress?

Thanks! Turns out this is a function of my internet security software ESET.
