Hi
Which web site are you trying to use?
It may be the case that the designers of that site have restricted people being able to copy and paste, but we would need to check the site to be sure.
I've found that I can't copy to firefox from my desktop, or any other program and need to know how to fix firefox to be able to copy and paste. it says the browser is not able to copy .
Since your not willing to list the page how would you expect others to knows how or what to do next? I also think there is something is in the page your copying from to the Browser that isn't accepted that stops it.

Hi RPFLLC, you have a variety of methods for copying and pasting, and some may be blocked. Here's a list:
(1) Right-click context menu
Usually to paste in a particular spot, you can use right-click > Paste
The context menu also will show Copy for selected text. Cut would usually only be available in an area of a page that is editable.
(2) Keyboard shortcuts -- on Windows:
- Ctrl+C to copy
- Ctrl+V to paste
- Ctrl+X to cut
(3) Edit menu on the classic menu bar
If you display the classic menu bar (File, Edit, View...) the Edit menu has the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands.
(4) Buttons provided by the site
Some websites have cut, copy, and paste buttons above their editor, and these might NOT work because Firefox restricts how websites can access the Windows clipboard for privacy reasons. Use methods #1, #2 or #3 instead.
